My client is an independent Medical Education agency that has been in the market for almost 20 years.
Both of the Directors felt there was a need to provide clients with compelling medical education programmes delivered by people who know what they're talking about and enjoy what they do - this is how it all started.
They provide compelling traditional as well as digital medical education programmes, and over the last couple of years have developed their own unique 'broadcast' medical education offering.
I am currently helping them to find a Senior Programme Manager - the "engine" room for their operations.
Here, the Programme Manager role differs from the traditional Account Manager in that it requires, and therefore teaches, much more about how they develop content for meetings.
This role would suit someone who wants to become more involved in the overall delivery of programmes rather than writing.
Some of the responsibilities:
- Lead delivery of projects
- Provide valuable input to programmes based on the med ed strategy
- Accurately estimate and reconcile project invoicing
- Lead work getting done through others
- Plan and manage client liaison
- Conduct more difficult/challenging KOL briefings
Potentially you will also have a team to manage directly.
