NonStop is currently supporting a GOOD OFSTED rated Local Authority to find a Locum Qualified Social Worker with post qualified experience in Child Protection and Court work to join a Social Work with Families team in South East London. The role will let you work with many different areas of Children and Families Safeguarding such as Children in Need, Child Protection Planning, court proceeding, etc. which can give you better understanding and more knowledge in the service. Exposure to other sectors can help to increase your choices and improve your employability in the future.

• Uses Systemic Practice, heading towards a more holistic way of working to ensure the best outcome for the children, providing you with better work satisfaction, all management are systemic trained so they can support you should you need it.
• The local authority has been rated GOOD overall following their most recent OFSTED inspection in March 2020.
• Manageable caseload (averaging 15-17 and capped at 18 children) so you can focus on providing better support for service users and give you a better work-life balance.
• Director committed to the caseload cap, with spending approved for Social Services to ensure the service and safety of the children are not compromise while maintaining a good working environment for staff.
• Working in a locality service, you will have a chance to broaden your experience working with Child protection plans, Children in Need, and Children Look After, giving you more knowledge in different areas of Children's Social Services, increasing your employability in the future.
• Business support integrated into the service structure to give you any support you may need to make your work life easier.
• Pay rate up to £38/hr depends on experience, one of the highest pay rates in London to give you more disposable money.

Requirements:

• Social Work England registered
• Social Work qualified
• Post ASYE experience in Children Social Services
