The role

Bristol Veterinary School is recruiting to position working 24 hours per week to lead operation of the School neuter clinic until 5/7/2021.

What will you be doing?

You will support the establishment of, and lead the operation of a neuter clinic, to provide case experience for final year veterinary students. You will play a key role in supervising students undertaking clinical duties in the service, managing caseload, performing clinical nursing duties, and maintaining compliance with key regulatory bodies.

You should apply if

You are a registered veterinary nurse, or veterinary surgeon experienced in small animal surgery and aspects of practice management. You have excellent customer care skills, are passionate about providing a high level of support to students and able to communicate effectively and confidently with a wide range of stakeholders, both internal and external.

You have proven organisational and technical skills, are efficient, adaptable and used to working in a very busy environment.

You are able to prioritise effectively and work to deadlines.

You are experienced in using a range of IT systems (particularly Excel) and able to adapt to new systems and processes quickly.
