What will you be doing?

You'll be as comfortable delivering high quality code as you will questioning the status quo and prototyping new services. You'll help shape the technology we use, and how it aligns with user needs and business requirements. You'll get the chance to work with and lead the development of a modern technology stack.

You'll thrive using agile methods and enjoy working collaboratively with our user experience, design and content specialists.

Your first task will be as dev lead on the multi-disciplinary team building a truly user-centred Sharepoint intranet for our 7,000 staff and postgraduate researchers. This will be followed by the development of new and existing core products such as the online prospectus, student information and academic profiles.

You'll also be a senior part of the Digital Communications management team, assessing and advising and on our technology stack and recommending new solutions as we look to service increasing demands on our digital ecosystem.

If you're a strong leader, capable of building excellent relationships, favour an agile approach, are proactive in getting things done and work diplomatically and influentially to do so, we'd love to hear from you.

In return, we offer a great package (including 40 days leave), a chance to make a real difference to our digital output and an exciting and thought-provoking working environment with inspiring colleagues.
