The role

We are looking for a talented researcher with a background in qualitative co-design methods and/or human computer interaction (HCI). The successful candidate will join a team of researchers investigating how COVID-19 transmission can be mapped and mitigated within schools. Specifically, the post-holder will contribute to a workstream aiming to co-design, develop and evaluate a novel digital system for managing Covid-19 within schools.

What will you be doing?

The post holder will conduct and analyse qualitative interviews with teachers, co-design workshops with teachers, students and parents to explore potential digital solutions, including the creation of paper and wireframe prototypes.

The post holder will have knowledge and experience of a wide range of qualitative research methods and analysis, in a field such as health sciences, social science, user-centred design or human-computer interaction. Track record of Patient and Public Involvement (PPI) would be an advantage ideally including working with children and young people.

Informal enquiries are welcome and should be addressed to Amberly Brigden ( Amberly.Brigden@bristol.ac.uk ).
