The Faculty of Medicine, supported by University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust wishes to appoint an NIHR Clinical Lecturer in Surgery or Radiology.

You will be developing your research and teaching within the Cancer Sciences School of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Southampton. You will also have clinical commitments at University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust that will lead to further clinical skills required for specialist training and leading to full registration within the specialty.

The post is intended for an applicant within the specialty of General Surgery/Cancer Sciences or Radiology / Cancer Sciences who has a research interest in Cancer.

The applicant will have appropriate research experience and will be required have a PhD/MD (or equivalent) awarded in an area relevant to the post before commencing post.

The post is subject to terms and conditions of service determined by the University of Southampton and in its honorary clinical capacity by the University Hospital Southampton Foundation Trust Board.
