Job Summary:

My client, an industry leader, is recruiting a Sales Specialist for liquid handling equipment to cover Sweden. This role is a great opportunity for people who want to work with the latest technologies in the field, and to be a part of one of the most successful companies in the Life Science industry . This role is a replacement for a person on a leave, 16 months in duration. During that time you would be able to gain valuable experience with the relevant laboratory equipment and grow your professional network immensely. The company is fast-growing with a worldwide reputation, in which you would have all the necessary requirements to excel and further develop your Sales career in the Life Sciences.

Requirements:

Job Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Prospection and sales of laboratory instruments
  • Establishing quotes and participation to public tenders
  • Completing database of CRM
  • Establishing the sales forecast for the sales territories
  • Participation in exhibitions
  • Organization of product demonstrations
  • Training of customers pre- and post sale
  • Meet or Exceed sales budget quota
  • Actively drive and develop portfolio products in existing and new customer segments

Qualifications:

  • Academic degree in life sciences (molecular biology, biochemistry or related)
  • At least three years of experience with track record in a similar position in sales within Life Sciences or experience from R&D within relevant field of Life Science.
  • Strong technical skills and in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in relevant molecular biology techniques.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills in both English and Swedish are mandatory
  • Valid driver's license is required
  • Profound Microsoft Office Software knowledge
  • CRM/SAP knowledge is a clear bonus
  • Located in Sweden, ideally Stockholm area.
