Qualified Social Worker - Looked After Children Team

A well-established local authority is looking for Qualified Social Workers to join its Looked After Children Team based in North East London.

A very competitive salary of £30,000 to £40,000 per year, depending on experience. This is a permanent, full time post which offers you job security and a stable, financial income.

The successful candidate will be working with children and young people aged 0-25 years old who are in care. You will be working to make sure that children and young people have every opportunity to succeed and achieve their dreams. You will therefore have the job satisfaction of knowing you are making a real positive impact to the lives of young people.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload of 13-15 cases, with 2-3 of those cases being in court. The low caseload means you can focus your time and energy on the children and young people you are working with. It also makes the role less stressful and will enable you to achieve a good work/life balance.

The successful candidate:

• Must be a Qualified Social Worker
• Must be registered with Social Work England
• Must have at least 1 year experience in a LAC team
