Supervising Social Worker - Therapeutic Fostering Service
An 'Outstanding' Independent Fostering Agency are looking for a Supervising Social Worker to join their team in Kent.
This is a specialist therapeutic organisation that specialises in working with children who have experienced trauma and often experience attachment disorder as a result. As a Supervising Social Worker you will be responsible for the assessment, supervision and support of a small case load of foster carers who are mainly based in East Kent (Canterbury, Deal, Medway, Folkestone).The position offers 36 days annual leave and a salary range of £30,000 to £40,000. The role will also consider part time applicants.To be considered for this position you will be a Qualified Social Worker with at least one year experience in working within a Fostering Agency or Fostering Team. You must be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of Fostering Minimum Standards, Fostering Legislation and Safeguarding. You must also hold a full UK Driving Licence and have access to your own vehicle.
