An exciting opportunity has arisen with our client for a Geo-environmental Engineer with 1 to 4 years experience to join the team based in Durham.
Our client, an established and successful geotechnical and geo-environmental consultancy have an opportunity for a Geo-environmental Engineer to join the team due to continued success and expansion. You will be joining a consultancy that have a proven track record undertaking a varied workload within all sectors of engineering across the UK.
As a Geo-environmental Engineer with our client you will be expected to be proficient in a number of areas, particularly:
- Completing Phase 1 and Phase 2 Geotechnical and Geo-Environmental Site Investigations
- Soil and Rock Logging
- Gas and Groundwater monitoring
- Risk Assessments
- Factual Report Writing
- Willingness to work on site
In return:
You will have the opportunity to work on developments across residential and major infrastructure site offering lots of variety in projects and role so you can continuously gain new experiences.
To be successful in role candidates will possess a relevant BSc, with a postgraduate degree being desirable, around 1 years experience, experience writing quantitative risk assessments, good knowledge of health and safety.
