The role
The role will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate reporting of study test results to Public Health England (PHE) through the Second Generation Surveillance System (SGSS) and NHS Test and Trace, ensuring effective data linkage to NHS systemwide data, and facilitating study analyses and mapping of infection test results.
What will you be doing?
The post-holder will enable adherence to all applicable data management regulations and standards (including GDPR), and establish and develop collaborative working relationships with relevant partners including BCC (Bristol City Council) and BNSSG CCG (Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire Clinical Commissioning Group).
This is a major and complex project with potential for high impact as well as generating enduring civic relationships and will be intensive due to the necessity for imminent delivery.

The role would suit a Data Linkage and Informatics Manager with experience of data management in an applied Health Services Research setting, understanding of data governance and models, with an enthusiastic approach to multi-disciplinary working and excellent communication skills.
This is a fixed term role with funding until 13 August 2021. We would welcome applications from candidates wishing to fulfil the role as a secondment or part time, or as a job share.
