Trading Lawyer - Switzerland
For one of my client an international and growing trading group, I am recruiting a Bar admitted Legal Counsel with proven counselling experience in the Commodity Trading. You will become a key member of the Legal team and work within a rewarding and dynamic environment.
Main tasks:
- Draft, negotiate and manage commercial agreements mainly in Common/English law
- Handle disputes / Arbitration / claims resolution / defense / litigation / and compliance issue proceedings of my client, as may be assigned by the Legal Director
- Manage and Handle legal and compliance issues with applicable laws and international trade sanctions and external trading partners
- Raise awareness and assist on key legal issues
- Participate and manage various tasks and projects involving the Legal Desk.
Profile:
- Master Degree in Law with Bar admittance.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in Commercial and Common law within the Commodity Trading.
- Excellent understanding of current regulations affecting commodity trading companies.
- Knowledge and experience of cross-border corporate and commercial transactions, financial transactions.
- Excellent communication skills in English, any other language are a plus.
