The role

The University of Bristol IT Services Division is expanding its Projects team by recruiting an experienced Programme Manager with responsibility to deliver our new Business Intelligence and Data Governance Programme. The Programme will deliver high-quality management information/business intelligence, specifically tailored to inform strategic decision-making at institutional, faculty and school level, and a central data governance approach.

What will you be doing?

This role will oversee progress of the programme from its definition phase through to successful delivery in conformity with University plans, strategies, and procedures on behalf of the Chief Information Officer. This role will focus on directing the programme and senior stakeholder engagement.

We are looking for someone who has the following knowledge and experience:

Significant experience of delivering large scale and high value regulatory projects/programmes within complex environments ·

Experience of developing Business Intelligence process and systems ·

Significant knowledge of project and programme management methods, and system development methodologies including PRINCE2 and SCRUM and how these methodologies can interact

Commercially astute and experienced in management of third-party suppliers ·

Excellent organisational skills for managing a high workload consisting of many different strands

Proven ability to solve complex problems
