Head of Finance - Trading

Within a leading Trading house in Switzerland be responsible for implementing the finance strategy and managing the finance organization directly with the Global CFO. To that end you will also be supported by a large team of financial expert who will be under your direct supervision. As a key person you will directly supervise the treasury, bank relationships, taxes, foreign exchange, capital structure of the affiliates with the support of your teams.

Responsibilities:

• Implement the finance strategy
• Coordinate financing of the subsidiaries activities and projects looking at the most competitive price with an adequate level of flexibility
• Define with IT and Controlling, the needs of finance department in connection with the ERP project and coordinate along with local and regional Finance Managers its gradual implementation
• Manage and develop subsidiaries banking relationships and supervise operations
• Supervise the optimization of the treasury management
• Supervise and approve, within his delegation level, the subsidiaries capital expenditures and ensure proper escalation for higher delegation levels and implementation
• Supervise and approve, within his delegation level, the subsidiaries credit lines and ensure proper escalation for higher delegation level and respect
• Prepare job descriptions, set and review objectives, assess the performance of key finance executives for the division in coordination with Regional Managers and local Managing Directors
• Coach local Finance Managers
• Foster the exchange of best practices between subsidiaries
• Implement and monitor a budget process in coordination with the Accounting and Controlling Manager
• Supervise the preparation of investment proposals of the subsidiaries to the Investment Committee
• Serve as representative in several boards of my client affiliates
• Supports Business Line Managers, Regional Managers and develop business tools in collaboration with the business lines Financial Controllers
• Manage fiscal risks and supervise tax matters with the support of your team
• Work on specific projects with the group' CFO

Profile:

• A relevant degree with a specialization in Finance
• At least 10 years' experience in a similar position in an international environment
• Fluent in French and English
• Experience in the oil and gas industry is mandatory
• Good understanding of commercial law
• Successful management experience
• General practitioner in financial functions and controlling with an operation orientation
• Availability to travel minimum 30% of the time
