Desktop Support Analyst - Trading

Join a Global Commodity Trader and work with their team internationally by providing direct and remote desktop support. You will join a fast-paced and unique working environment which offers a family atmosphere and a good amount of challenges.

Responsibilities:

Support and Desktop automation 70%

  • Work on help desk tickets to final resolution
  • Develop and document new solutions and training material for occurring issues
  • Configure PC's and Laptops based on the standards
  • Mobile' s device management
  • Respond to incoming questions, support in timely manner and keep 100% track of all customer contacts
  • Research questions and resolve each interaction with customer satisfaction
  • Provide accurate reporting to management
  • Contribute to automated PC' s updates and deployments (scripting, …)
  • IT logistics (cabling, PC moves, ..)

Server's management: 30%

  • Deploy branch offices servers
  • Day-to-day activities such as user's management, back up follow up
  • First line server and network support

Technical skills required:

  • Strong knowledge of:
    • PC based environments (MS Windows 7-10), Office, installation and administration, GPO, scripted deployment, automation tools
    • Digital World Technology (Mobile devices - iPhones etc), Google Apps for Business, cloud solutions
    • Client side networking (VPN, Wifi, client network config)
  • Good knowledge of HP mid-level servers running on Windows 2008R2, 2012 R2, 2016, vmware
  • Base knowledge of switching
  • Comprehension of the Life Cycle management (ITIL etc)

Profile:

  • Holder of a Swiss CFC (IT, Electronic) or higher education, certifications an asset
  • Min 2 year of professional experience in support level 1
  • Fluent in French and good skills in English, both verbal and written
  • Excellent customer service attitude and problem solving abilities and experience
  • Willingness to constantly maintain qualifications by analyzing technical issues
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Sense of responsibility and ability to work independently
