A FTSE listed Investment Management firm is searching for a talented Senior Group Controller or Senior Group Finance Manager to join a high performing Finance team in a broad accounting role with both commercial and technical responsibilities. Reporting to the Director's and Senior Leadership team this opportunity has exposure to various internal and external stakeholders on a global scale. You must be able to illustrate true entrepreneurialism to deliver on key projects and drive change.
Responsibilities:
- Act as first point of contact for the senior management team and finance leaders globally
- Spearhead delivery of transformations, including system implementation, process and control improvements
- Co-ordination of the quarterly portfolio valuation process
- Financial Reporting, ensuring all finance, regulatory, compliance and operational aspects are completed on time.
- Corporate accounting
- Technical Accounting of IFRS 16 and IFRS 10
- Regulatory Reporting
- Support investors in transaction completion
- Present to the board the analysis and the implications of technical accounting issues
- Awareness of changes to accounting standards and IPEV guidelines
Requirements:
Qualified (ACA or ACCA) or equivalent
5 years PQ +
Experience in Financial Services, Banking and/or Investment Management
