Senior Fund Accountant - Private Equity

Nonstop Consulting is partnered with a high growth Private Equity firm who are looking to bolster their accounting team with a talented Fund Accountant. This will be a brilliant opportunity for somebody with at least 1 years post qualification looking to get direct, high level exposure to the CFO, Financial Controller and other senior stakeholders in the business. You will work in a close knit team and have full exposure to all aspects of accounting and growth strategy whilst business partnering with the investment directors, partners and managing directors.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing financial statements and statutory accounts in line with appropriate accounting standards
• Prepare the quarterly investor report, in accordance with the Portfolio Management team
• External audit coordination
• Liaising and responding to clients, and third parties and ensuring client and third party request or queries are dealt with appropriately
• Variance analysis on equity investments in portfolio companies
• Support payment processing in accordance with policy and strict deadlines
• Preparation of routine and ad-hoc management reports
• Proactively looking for opportunities to improve with communication to senior management
• Coach and supervise the workload of one or more Trainee Fund Accountant

Requirements:

• Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA or equivalent)
• Technical knowledge of Private Equity Funds
• Minimum 1 years Post-Qualified experience
