Audit Senior - Newly Qualified ACA/ACCA

Nonstop Consulting is partnered with a well established accounting firm with an enviable client base across the South East and London area with turnovers up to £100 million. This will be a brilliant opportunity for a recently qualified accountant to work in a close knit team and have full exposure to all aspects of daily accounting whilst working very closely with senior finance members, c-suite and business leaders to help spearhead change in a truly entrepreneurial environment. This will be a more hands-on accounting environment looking at the whole picture of a business and dealing directly with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of timely and accurate accounting output for review
• Preparing monthly/quarterly reconciliations of management accounts
• Ownership of transactions and maintenance of accounting records for multiple client entities
• Providing insightful, pro-active, high quality analysis to support decision making
• Liaising and responding to clients, and third parties and ensuring client and third party request or queries are dealt with appropriately
• Preparation of routine and ad-hoc management reports
• Business Partner with Entrepreneurs, CFO's, Management and Business Leaders
• Proactively looking for opportunities to improve with communication to senior management
• Coach and supervise the workload of one or more trainee accountants

Experience needed:

• Recently Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA or equivalent)
• Strong technical skills and experience of UK GAAP/FRS102 reporting
• Audit Experience or Audit Background
