Geo-Environmental Engineer - Scotland - Site Based

An exciting opportunity has arisen with our client for a Geoenvironmental Engineer with 1 to 3 years experience to join the team based in Scotland.

Our client, an established and successful geotechnical and geo-environmental consultancy have an opportunity for a Geo-environmental Engineer to join the team due to continued success and expansion. You will be joining a consultancy that have a proven track record undertaking a varied workload within all sectors of engineering.

Responsibilities:

As a Geo-environmental Engineer with our client you will be expected to be proficient in a number of areas, particularly:

• Completing Phase 1 and Phase 2 Geotechnical and Geo-Environmental Site Investigations
• Soil and Rock Logging
• Gas and Groundwater monitoring
• Risk Assessments
• Factual Report Writing
• Comfortable with site based role.

Site investigation will be based across Aberdeenshire, therefore you must have a full driving license and willingness to work outside. As and when reports are needed to be written up, this can be done from the comfort of your own home rather than an office base - offering more flexibility and a better work/life balance.

To be successful in role candidates will possess a relevant BSc, with a postgraduate degree being desirable, around 1 years experience in site investigations, report writing skills, and a willingness to learn.
