Supervising Social Worker - IFA

A well established Independent Fostering Agency are looking for a Supervising Social Worker to provide support to foster carers in North Wales.

The position offers flexible home working along with a manageable case load of around 10 fostering households.

As a Supervising Social Worker you be responsibilities will include:

  • Providing emotional and practical support to the agency's Foster Carers, ensuring that the child needs are being met
  • Undertaking monthly and announced visits to foster carer households
  • Competing Annual Reviews for existing carers and Form F Assessments for new ones coming into the agency
  • Participating in the Agency's Outs of Hours Rota

The position offers a salary of up to £35,000 depending on experience

  • Car allowance of £100 per month

To be considered for this position you will be a Qualified Social Worker with at least one year experience in working within a Fostering Agency or Fostering Team. You must be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of Fostering Minimum Standards, Fostering Legislation and Safeguarding. You must also hold a full UK Driving Licence and have access to your own vehicle.
