Our client is a local authority based in the South London area, looking for experienced Social Workers to join their busy Court Work Team to clear a back log of cases.
Over the last two years a new approach to practice and organisational structure has been adopted. New and innovative ways of working have supported reduced caseloads, increased retention of social workers and brought new energy to positively take forward a long-term, strong and aspirational vision to improve outcomes for children and families in the borough.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Social Worker who prefers to work autonomously and get stuck into casework with the view off clearing off cases and helping bring caseloads back to nominal levels. Due to the nature of work this local authority will be looking for Qualified Social Workers with a strong background within Child Protection/Court Work.
