Therapeutic Care Worker - Accredited Training in Child Psychotherapy

A Children's Charity are looking for a Therapeutic Care Workers to join one of their Residential Homes in Norfolk on a permanent basis.

The Home provides care and support to children who have complex emotional and psychological needs as a result of previous trauma in earlier childhood. As a Therapeutic Support Worker you will provide care to children between the ages of 5 - 13. You will cultivate safe, professional, supportive relationships and nurture the children's emotional, educational and social development.

The Home achieved 'Outstanding' in their most recent OFSTED Inspection and offer a supportive, welcoming working environment. Staff at all levels receive accredited training/educational opportunities in Child Psychotherapy at different levels (Certificate, Diploma, Practitioner's Diploma and MA) making this an excellent opportunity for child care workers who are looking for further career, enhance their knowledge and provide a better level of care to children and young people who have been subjected to trauma.

To be considered you must have:

* Experience in working with children within a residential setting
* Have own car access
* Be willing to work evenings and weekends (with sleep in duties)
