Children Looked After Team
Salary up to £51,500 Plus Plus a £2,000 welcome payment & retention bonus of £3,000 every two years
NonStop's client is a local authority based near Wandsworth who are seeking an experienced Team Manager to help play a central role in achieving positive outcomes for children between the age of 0-18 years old.
- You have relevant Children Looked After team management experience or proven experience of supervising and undertaking management and leadership role.
- You are a motivated innovator who is committed to working with multi-cultural communities and collaborating effectively with partners from Education, Adoption and Fostering whilst trying to achieve permanency for our children.
- You are an effective communicator with strong presentation skills.
This authority has developed our Practice Model and preparing for the implementation of the Family Safeguarding Approach. Family Safeguarding is a way of keeping families together where it is safe to do so. This allows you to use your own ideas to shape the way you work with the service users.
By implementing the Family Safeguarding model we are working towards caseloads reducing across the team so that our social workers can focus on doing what social workers are trained to do and positively make a difference in the lives of young people in the borough.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our friendly social work team led by engaging and supportive senior managers who are striving to continue improving and developing the service. Close supervision is provided to help support our social workers drive forward children care plans.
