Senior R&D Engineer, design and development, rapidly expanding Medical Device company, Galway City
My partner is an international medical device company who has just recently launched their innovative medical device in the United States to great success. They are seeking to follow up the fantastic launch with more products and planned design changes this year. On that basis, we need a Senior R&D Engineer Professional to join the team.
The focus is on project tasks and to provide design, development and technical input on these various development projects.
This isn't a monster multinational where you have lots of red tape and slow cross departmental communication. What will you do?
- Perform project tasks in line with relevant company procedures
- Provide design, development and technical input
- Work cross-departmentally with QA and DA to develop test, verification and validation procedures
- Manage the equipment, calibrations and maintenance system of the company
What do you need?
- Minimum of 5 years relevant R&D experience for the Medical Devices industry (class IIb or III prefered)
- Technical competency in the following:
- ISO13485:2016
- FDA CFRs
- Class III Medical Device requirements
- Strong communication and organizational skills enabling you to present reports to relevant stakeholders
