Qualified Social Worker - Children with Disabilities Team

A well-established local authority is looking for a Qualified Social Worker to join its Children With Disabilities Team based in the West Midlands.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload of around 20 children and young people aged 0-18 years who have a permanent and substantial disability. You would be working with children and families on a long-term basis, working towards positive outcomes. This will provide you with the job satisfaction of seeing the positive impact of your work.

This is a Locum post, offering a salary of £29.93 per hour. A rolling contract is also offered, providing you with job stability and a consistent income, while also still having the flexibility and salary of a Locum role!

The successful candidate will be able to work mostly from home, but would need to travel to conduct visits to children and families. The ability to conduct admin work from home will save you travel time and costs, as you can drive straight from home to your visits with no need to go into the office! PPE is also provided for visits, helping to keep you safe in the current climate with Covid-19.

The successful candidate will be joining a large and supportive team. You will therefore have the support of a large, friendly team of Social Workers and experienced Managers, ensuring you can be confident in your new role.

To be considered, you:

• Must be a Qualified Social Worker
• Must be registered with Social Work England
• Must have experience working in a Children with Disabilities Team
