Qualified Social Worker - Safeguarding Team

A well-established local authority is looking for Qualified Social Workers to join its Safeguarding & Family Support Team based in the West Midlands.

The successful candidate will be working with children and families on a long-term basis to build good relationships and work towards positive outcomes for children and young people. You will therefore have the job satisfaction of being able to see the positive results of your work from start to finish.

You will be responsible for managing an average caseload of 18 cases. This low caseload will enable you to focus your time and energy on the children and families you are working to help. It will also make the job less stressful, so if you are looking to move to a Social Worker role where you can really ensure the best service for children and families and also achieve a greater work/life balance for yourself, this is a great opportunity for you.

This is a Locum post offering the standard salary of £29.93 per hour in this region. A rolling contract is also offered, providing you with job stability and a consistent income, while also still having the flexibility and salary of a Locum role!

The successful candidate:

• Must be a Qualified Social Worker
• Must be registered with Social Work England
• Must have at least 1 year experience in Child Protection
