NonStop Consulting is looking for a formulation/ sales technician to be integrated in an important client company present on the whole European market.
This position will be split between their commercial offices in Ticino and the one in Milan, Italy. The successful role has two core tasks are providing technical sales support and leading technology and formulation projects. Some travel involved, occasionally over several days for trade shows or customer visits
The person will be responsible for product development and formulation of nicotine products and related technologies both internally and managing outsourced services. It will include laboratory work, preparation of samples in support product development and commercial projects.
Key responsibilities:
- Product development and formulation of nicotine pouches.
- The inception and product development of new nicotine technologies.
- Provide specifically technical leadership and support for nicotine pouches.
- Conduct laboratory work, including preparation of samples in support product development and commercial projects.
- Assist the sales team with technical support and input for sales and marketing tools
- Develop and prepare at laboratory scale standard and novel product formulations to support innovation nicotine projects.
- Prepare technical reports and communicate activity updates at project team meetings.
- Selection and management of raw materials and flavours.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years' or more experience and expertise in pharmaceutical formulation or experience in formulation of tobacco products.
- Knowledge of chemistry, pharmacokinetics, delivery systems and flavours an advantage.
- Drive for research and learning; continuous improvement and open to new ideas and techniques.
- Time management, report writing and team working skills. Planning and completing work to agreed standards.
- English Native speaker or C1. Most of communications in the business are in English.
- Italian Native speaker or C1.
