MGH Seeking Primary Care Physician with Rural Health Interest

The Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) Division of General Internal Medicine seeks outstanding primary care physicians with an interest in rural health to be based at MGH and to provide twelve weeks annually of clinical care with our partner tribe in Rosebud, South Dakota. Such faculty would join a dedicated team that rotates between an indigenous federal facility and an MGH primary care practice.  

We seek physicians of diverse backgrounds who are excited to engage in the clinical, educational, and scholarly missions of our Division at MGH and in teaching activities at Harvard Medical School. Academic rank at Harvard Medical School as Instructor, Assistant Professor, or Associate Professor, full-time and part-time will be commensurate with qualifications and experience, including relevant experience in medical education, health system leadership, research, and community service.

Candidates must be board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine, and qualify for a license to practice medicine in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
