I am happy to present to you a unique opportunity to take a leading role as a Service Manager within a local authority who is on the improvement journey within the south west of England.

I am working with a local authority located in the picturesque location of the English Riviera and are looking for an experienced service manager to manager the child protection services.

This position will allow you to lead the child protection and initial response services providing you with the opportunity to demonstrate your leadership qualities and improve/ maintain the high level of service already provided for their service users, reporting directly to the Locality Director.

The ideal candidate for this position would need to demonstrate via past experiences in completion of complex investigations, extensive experience within children social work at management level as well as budget management to name but a few.

In return for this you will be provided with a competitive day rate as well success to the council vast resources, please do bare in mind this position is to cover a colleague who is on sick leave and as such is a short term contract.

To be considered for this post you will have prior experience management experience within children social work or have experience at this level, you will also be require to provide the last 3 years worth of references, your right to work document as well as proof of address.
