My client is a Contract Development Manufacturing Organization, CDMO and they offer extensive services from cell line development and the development of production processes to the non-GMP and GMP production of biopharmaceutical active ingredients and drugs. Currently, they employee almost 400 highly qualified employees and they keep expanding, therefore, for their state-of-the-art site in Heidelberg, they are looking for PLENTY of:

Scientist / research assistant (f / m / d) for the analysis of a COVID-19 vaccine.

These tasks are your responsibility

  • You are responsible for carrying out the analysis in the context of release tests and stability studies of recombinantly produced biological agents (e.g. HPLC, electrophoresis, ELISA, cell-based assays, microbiological tests, pharmacopoeia methods, etc.)
  • The optimization, the establishment, the method transfer and the validation of analytical methods with GMP-compliant documentation are part of your area of ​​responsibility
  • You are responsible for the maintenance, calibration and qualification of laboratory equipment
  • You document all work carried out in accordance with the applicable GMP guidelines
  • You are responsible for the creation of quality-relevant documents according to GMP standards, e.g. B. General work instructions (SOPs)
  • You are actively involved in processing changes and deviations in connection with your area of ​​responsibility
  • You work in interdisciplinary project teams

    • What you bring with you:

  • You have a completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in biotechnology / biochemistry or a comparable qualification
  • You have already gained knowledge in one or more of the following areas: HPLC, electrophoresis, ELISA, cell-based assays, instrumental analysis
  • You have knowledge in dealing with quality management systems (according to GMP & ISO 9001)
  • You already have knowledge of the GMP environment
  • You are fluent in both written and spoken German and English
