Department Summary:

The Department of Physician Assistant Studies in the School of Health Professions at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth is seeking an Adjunct Assistant/Associate Professor to serve as HEENT Course Director.

Position Summary:

Position will direct and teach the 9-week, 2 semester credit hour HEENT course in PA Studies. Planning, preparation and teaching will occur between December and May. The position is up to 10 hours per week for the 5-6-month time period and is a temporary position. Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be expected to teach PA students (master level) HEENT 2 credit hour course materials taught online over a 9-week span of time and direct the HEENT course including- formulation and organization of online course content and formulation of tests and assessment of student knowledge. The candidate will also be expected to work with other course directors to insure that supporting course work is in alignment with the HEENT course materials. When possible the course director should be able to attend in person activities. Total teaching, preparation time, and post course follow up for this course will be 5-6 months. Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must be a PA that is nationally certified or a board certified physician and knowledgeable in the area of HEENT. Applicant must possess the skills necessary to organize and instruct a course and must be a team player.

Teaching experience
