6 Week Duty - More time to Clear off Cases

A Local Authority based in the West Midlands is seeking an experienced Social worker to join their assessment service, which benefits from a 6 week duty rota so staff have enough time to clear off cases before picking up a new allocation.

Highlights:

  • Local Authority has been developing its services and has received a large investment from DfE to improve services even further
  • The team have a 6 eek duty rota so Social Workers have enough time to clear off cases
  • Well established Thresholds so cases are only escalated when they exceed these thresholds providing a more focused approach.
  • Will be given the equipment to be able to work from home - currently this team is working from home and carrying out only essential visits
  • The Local Authority is able to provide longer term contracts providing you with a high level of stability and job security
  • Caseloads are very well managed within the team and are based on geography and experience level, meaning you wont have to travel too far to carry out your visits
