Job Details

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will serve as a key leader for the laboratory.

The COO will be responsible for providing administrative and operational leadership for the CDMO (Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization) services, CMO activities, R&D activities as well as all ancillary services. The COO will promote the mission of the organisation by assuring the achievement of overall quality, services, R&D and performance improvement outcomes. The COO will lead in short- and long-term strategic planning for the activities of the laboratory.

The COO will actively foster and maintain a system orientation, achieving integration within the framework of the strategic objectives set forth by the Board and the CEO.

He will be responsible for overseeing the overall business operations strategy (R&D and production) as this is crucial for our growth and success. The COO will optimise our company's operating capabilities, employ strategies to maximise customer satisfaction and manage marketing initiatives. The COO will assist in compiling the company's budget, and employ strategies to safeguard assets and stock. You will compile financial reports, and control financial policies and procedures. The COO is a crucial member of our direction team, who reports directly to the CEO. In this position, you'll have to manage and control diverse business operation and function, so we expect you to be a hardworking and inspiring leader. You always have in mind Customer satisfaction which drives your efforts.

Your mission :

  • Identify and drive opportunities for improvements in operational efficiency and implement new directives for growth.
  • Understand the status of all programs and projects and supervise/maintain regular updates on key initiatives and progress against goals.
  • Collaborate with company leadership to develop, review, evaluate, and implement business procedures and policies and internal infrastructure to constantly improve organisational health. Drive decision-making on related projects and initiatives.
  • Lead, manage, develop, and hold accountable a team of cross functional senior leadership personnel.
  • Reinforce the established company culture and create a framework to maintain our core values as our company rapidly grows.
  • Participate as a strategic partner to the CEO and leadership team to form and implement the core strategy.
  • Deliver insightful information and analysis to enable valuable business decisions.
  • Drive the company to meet and exceed profitability and the overall business goals/objectives.
