Safety Engineer for HSEQ GERMAN BU

I am currently working with Europe's leading independent Exploration and Production Company, known for their innovative 3D seismic surveys using artificial sound waves.

For their headquarters in Hamburg they are currently looking to a recruit a HSEQ safety engineer for the German BU.

This is a junior position where you will work with your colleagues on specific and diverse challenges with the aim of improving the safety culture and performance of the company.

You will also be responsible for:

• You are responsible for the further development of occupational safety and accident prevention measures
• You will identify hot spots for accidents, develop improvement concepts and implement them
• You carry out accident investigations and drives on your own responsibility
• You will support project and contractor management
• You implement the goals from the HSEQ annual program
• You carry out instructions and initial instructions
• You will develop procedural instructions in close cooperation with the German companies

What my client expects:

• You are a safety engineer or have a university / technical college education with a technical background and are preferably a trained safety specialist
• You have around 3-5 years of professional experience in safety-related support, ideally in the E&P or mining industry
• You are passionate about HSE culture and want to develop and promote your own creative ideas
• You have strong communication skills (in German and English)
• You are an absolute team player and open to new ideas
• You are mobile throughout Germany
