Lead Clinical Psychologist

I am working with a leading private a leading private group near Leeds who are looking for a qualified Lead Clinical Psychologist to join their service. The service are looking for a qualified Lead Clinical Psychologist to aid in providing specialist psychological services to children who have suffered abuse and neglect in their lives.

Due to the nature of the service they are looking for an experienced Clinical Psychologist or to provide leadership and management. With this Lead Clinical Psychologist role you will be a member of the Senior Management Team, so that you will work as an industry expert and can feel the pride of being directly responsible for the success of yourself, the children and the service as a whole!

With this Lead Clinical Psychologist role you will work with highly skilled clinical teams, so that you will have confidence to make a difference in the lives of the children.

You will receive great flexibility with this Lead Clinical Psychologist role by having the option to choose a part or full time basis as well as which working days are suitable, so that you will be able to take control and organise around your schedule and needs!

Your responsibilities would be:

  • Hold clinical responsibility for a multi-disciplinary team; through supervision and performance reviews.
  • Lead and develop an expanding Clinical team using a strategic approach to shape positive change.
  • To use data analysis to make informed decisions that are aligned with children's and organisation's goals.
  • Proactively work holistically with our care and education teams; to ensure outcomes for children and young people are prioritised.
  • Work collaboratively and effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide direct therapy and assessment for Looked After Children with developmental trauma.
  • Develop and deliver training on relevant topics, to the care and education teams to enable them to provide therapeutic care and positive results for children

Requirements:

  • A Doctorate level degree in Clinical Psychology
  • Registration with HCPC (or other relevant registration)
  • Experience in managing a multi-disciplinary team
  • Experience providing direct therapy and assessment to children and young people
  • Previous experience of analysis and reporting
  • Demonstrable ability to lead and manage strategically
  • A genuine desire to restore positive life trajectories for children and young people.
