Qualified Social Worker - MASH Team - West Midlands

A well-established local authority is looking for Qualified Social Workers to join its Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) Team in the West Midlands.

The successful candidate will be responsible for screening referrals to the Local Authority's Children's Services and deciding whether the case needs to be passed on to the Assessment Teams or can be managed by other professionals. This role therefore enables you to work in a multi-agency team, working alongside the police, health professionals, education professionals and other qualified social workers.

This is a non-case holding role and therefore ideal for any Qualified Social Worker who is looking for a role where you can quickly see the positive impact of your work by assessing children and families needs and pass the case on to the relevant professionals.

This is a Locum post, offering a salary of £29.93 per hour and the flexibility of an agency social worker post.

The successful candidate will be joining a friendly and supportive team. You will also be able to work from home for 50% of the time and 50% in the office to ensure social distancing in the office. This will help to keep you safe in the current climate.

• Must be a Qualified Social Worker
• Must be registered with Social Work England
• Must have experience working in a multi-agency team
