Job Details
My client is an independant Medical Education agency, they have been in the market for 20 years.
Looking for a Senior Programme Manager: this role will suit an Account Manager or Project Manager from another agency, preferably MedEd or a similar role within the industry.
This is very much the engine room of their operation and their PM role differs from the traditional AM role in that it requires, and therefore teaches, much more about how we develop content for meetings.
They are developing a writing team also, so their PMs don't really do much writing, but they do like them to have perhaps a better understanding of the content than AMs might.
As such this role may suit an AM, who wants to become more involved in the overall delivery of programmes. They are particularly keen to see Senior Programme Managers who are at a stage in their career where they can work pretty independently of their Programme Director, and may also be ready to take a programme executive under their wing in a mentoring type role.
Some of the responsibilities involve but are not limited to:
- Lead delivery of projects
- Provide valuable input to programmes based on the med ed strategy
- Accurately estimate and reconcile project invoicing
- Lead work getting done through others
- Plan and manage client liaiso
- Conduct more difficult/challenging KOL briefings
