Home based Supervising Social Worker - North Wales
£36,000 per annum plus £1,200 car allowance
NonStop Care is working with a well established Independent Fostering Agency in the North Wales area, in order to recruit for a permanent Supervising Social Worker.
Your responsibilities as a Supervising Social Worker will be to supervise and support about 10 foster carers around the Wrexham and North Wales area.
Benefits: - you will be home based, so you will have more flexibility with your schedule. The role is always home based, not just during the covid lock-down.
They offer a good salary package that can get as high as £36,000 per annum plus £1,200 car allowance.
They are a therapeutic Independent Fostering Agency and they provide therapeutic training. Also, they provide ongoing training and support and opportunities for career progression - they encourage their Supervising Social Workers to move into a Senior role with them and then into a management role, or you can move into an Assessment Manager role or even towards their training side.
They also offer a generous annual leave, plus birthday off.
The requirements are
- experienced Social Worker
- experience in working within a Fostering or a Looked After Children Team
- knowledge of the Fostering Legislation
- Social Work Degree
- Driving license
