For one of our clients, one of the best known companies in the chemical industry, we are currently looking for a Senior Product Development Manager ( functional coatings ) to join their German entity.

Your profile :

• Degree in a relevant subject
• Broad knowledge in the scope of coating technologies as well as active lab work
• Experience in the field of product development, developing successfully coating products for plastic films and aluminum foils
• Experience with raw material development and supply
• Ability to characterize coatings with chemical and physical methods
• Fluency in English and preferably in German
• MS Office skills

You daily tasks will include :

• Project management
• Being a part of product development team for functional coatings in the field of packaging adhesives
• Engage suppliers and third parties to learn about, and introduce new technology
• Drive the continuous improvement of product development capabilities
• Product development of solvent-based and water-based heat seal lacquers, functional coatings, primers, overprint varnishes and further functional coatings for food packaging
• Communication with the clients
• You will define, implement and monitor SHE-Q improvement actions within own team to ensure a safe, clean and efficient working environment in the development team
