I am working with a South West England authority that is looking to bolster their Assessment service, my client is looking for qualified social workers who would like an opportunity to grow with the social care industry and will actually look to provide you with the opportunity to further your career.

My client understands the importance of having a supportive and helpful management team hence the reason why if you join them they will offer you an opportunity to gain a lot more knowledge and soak this knowledge in which isn't necessarily social work related/regular supervision.

A children's social worker in the Duty and Assessment service responds to new referrals from professionals and members of the public. They will:

• Signpost people to other agencies or complete an assessment of need
• Investigate allegations of neglect, physical, sexual and emotional abuse so that a child or young person is protected from harm.
