Key Strategic Sales Manager DAF - Leading automotive tier 1
I am currently working with a leading worlwide OEM and I am currently seeking a highly talent Strategic Sales Manager with a deep knowledge / experience selling solutions towards the truck industry (OEMs), especialy with the DAF account. I am for this reason looking for someone who has a proven experience working with DAF at high levels of negociation, both on a EMEA scope but also on a global one.
The role :
Directly reporting to the European Sales Director, the Key Strategic Sales Manager will be leading the European sales strategy and activities related to the DAF customer. In addition, the person is responsible for managing all customer programs (pricing, revenue growth, profitability, design, customer satisfaction)
General Missions :
- Lead the development of the regional customer strategy for both the annual profit and five-year strategic plan
Provide input into the qualification, description and recommendations of growth opportunities for new products and systemsDevelopment of pricing and commercial terms and conditions
Gather competitive information
Manage cost reduction programs
Assist with the resolution of all open strategical issues
Act as a key point of contact for commercial warranty issues (...)
Specific actions and knowledge required :
- Leverage of sponsors to influence decision-makers in support the offering.Use of patterns and segmentation to better understand specific needs, profitability (...)Help marketing departement build robust actionable segmentation thanks to a solid understanding of competitors and customer needsImprove the profitability by compilling all relevant operations and involving with providersDefine a strategy to make the process and relationship benefits of the company's offering a lower cost of ownership (work as less as possible with the competition)
- Demonstrate to key decision makers within DAF how the offering positively impacts their business
Profiles required :
- You have at least 8 / 10 years of experience within the automotive industry, you must be very knowledgeable about DAF account with proven experience negociating at high level
You possess a high financial acumen (P&L, Cost estimating and Pricing)You are willing to travel up to 50%
You speak natively dutch and your english is completly fluent
