Fleet Procurement Germany - Home based

An exciting opportunity has become available with my client hiring for an experienced procurement specialist, focused on the operational management of the company`s vehicles.

In this position you will work with a high level of independence, therefore you can be based anywhere in Germany. In this role you will get to interact with different departments internationally, as well as to travel up to 20%.

Your main responsibility will be to analyse the industry trends and regulations related to the fleet program, as well as provide support to other fleet admins. As the position is very strategic, you need to bring strong skills in negotiating with suppliers, as well as discussing contracts and pricing in order to achieve cost effective solutions.

To be successful in this position you need to bring experience in procurement with demonstrated responsibility for the fleet in German markets. You will also need to be confident and strong negotiator, as well as willing to travel up to 20% internationally.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor`s Degree or equivalent experience in procurement/fleet

3+ years experience working in a procurement environment managing all aspects of fleet in Germany

Proven ability to influence and persuade stakeholders with strong negotiation skills

German as mother tongue, English fluency required
