What we are looking for:

zyBooks is looking for an Editorial Assistant to support our teams in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, and New Markets (institutional, fully online accounts).

What you'll do:

You'll help facilitate the course development process from start to finish, communicating with authors and contributors as required; scheduling and participating in team meetings; helping with production, course building, and tracking of custom interactive textbooks; and working effectively with colleagues on cross-functional teams. You'll maintain accurate and up-to-date information in our systems and manage a range of administrative tasks to ensure efficient workflows.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Prior experience in a support role, preferably in a related industry
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, able to shift focus quickly
  • Strong attention to detail, especially for entering, updating, and maintaining accurate data in our systems
  • Polished communication skills, ability to build relationships and credibility quickly
  • Willingness to develop a proficient basic understanding of our platform, authoring tools, google docs, processor, and project management system (Wrike)
  • Creative problem solver
  • Team player
  • Ability to do some traveling

Preference will be given to candidates working at the Campbell, CA office. This team has a work-from-home policy that allows employees to work remotely one day per week. The office is currently closed, and everyone is working from home during COVID pandemic.
