You have probably seen in the news that several companies are in a race to develop a successful COVID-19 vaccine. One of these pharmaceutical companies is setting up a project team in South-Africa to start manufacturing this vaccine in a CMO. One of the key roles is the Fill/Finish Engineer so if you want to use your skills to support in bringing a vaccine on the market that will make the world normal again, then you need to apply here.

Responsibilities:

  • Aseptic Fill-finish, using isolator technology and RABS technology
  • Filling line qualification and start up
  • Work with disposable systems both for filling line (peristaltic pump) as well as for buffer prep and compounding
  • Operation and qualification of cleaning and sanitising - fumigation/VHP - systems
  • Setting up and qualification of optical inspection process using OI machine, as well as manual visual inspection
  • Lead improvement programs and train on-site operational teams to meet EMA / FDA requirements
  • Able to support, write/review regulatory filing.

Profile:

  • Bachelor or Master or PhD in Engineering or Life Sciences or relevant by experience
  • Several years of experience as Engineer in the pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
  • Strong experience with Aseptic Fill-finish
  • Experience with vaccines is a plus
  • Fluent level of English
