A Local Authority based in the South is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join their Child Protection service and is offering a high level of flexibility and a very competitive rate to attract the best Social Workers

• The Local Authority has a dedicated CSE team to help support with any complex cases
• You will have the opportunity to be home based for this assignment and a buddy system means that a Social Worker in the region can do share your visits.
• All CIN work is done virtually along with other meetings
• Excellent rates of pay of up to £45/Hr for experienced practitioners

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced and confident Child Protection Social Workers to work very autonomously whilst earning a very high rate, which can help boost your savings significantly. Most of the work will be done virtually but as there is a buddy system in place you can share your visits with a Social Worker on site if you are currently home based.

You will be joining a service which also has a dedicated CSE team that focuses on complex cases that have a CSE component. The main focus of the CP team is to carry out CP and CIN work with cases that do not involve any CSE and/or Gangs. Therefore cases will focus predominantly on DV, Parental Mental Health for the most part.
