Clear off a Backlog

A Local Authority based in the South is recruiting experienced Social Workers to help clear off a backlog of cases. To help support this a Manager has been brought in to lead this effort who is able to close cases effectively and has a proven track record of doing so.

This is an excellent opportunity for Social Workers who are looking to achieve a greater degree of autonomy without being micro managed. To help support this you will also have access to business support who can help with any admin tasks so that you can focus on the Social Work and task at hand. You can be home based for this assignment, however there maybe some cases which require visits which you will need to arrange.

You will be working with a very experienced and supportive manager who will support you to close of cases when safe to do so. They have a proven track record of helping Local Authorities clear off backlogs in a safe and effective manner. Those cases which require ongoing work will receive the adequate level of resources in order to help support the families involved.

To be considered for this post you should have extensive Child Protection experience.
