Veterinarian in Quality Control - GMP/GLP Studies

My client, located in Heidelberg, is specialized in the development , validation and execution of biological assays within the framework of Development & Quality Control of pharmaceutical and chemical products. Now, to strengthen and expand their team, they are looking for a:

Veterinarian as Study Leader (Quality Control GMP/GLP Studies) (f/m/d) for a permanent position.

Your responsibilities will include:
-Qualification to lead experimental projects according to the Animal Welfare Act with at least 3 years of experience (incl. preparation of trial applications and communication with authorities).
-Test leader for in-vivo assays in quality control under GMP
-Test director for GLP studies (in-vivo & in-vitro)
-Deputy management and organization of animal husbandry (incl. veterinary in-house pharmacy and health monitoring)
-Extensive laboratory expertise for coordination of incidental testing of active ingredients and drugs as well as evaluation and release of analytical data
-Representation of the department during inspections by authorities and customer audits
-Establishment and validation of analytical methods and method transfers

Your profile:
-Completed veterinary studies as well as professional experience in a GMP-regulated environment, preferably in quality control
-Extensive knowledge of in-vivo assays as well as instrumental analysis and information and data processing tools; ideally also for flow cytometry
-Structured, goal-oriented, independent and accurate working style
-Organizational talent and leadership skills
-Willingness to cooperate, ability to communicate and work in a team
-Entrepreneurial sense of responsibility and ability to work under pressure
-Profound PC user skills
-Very good English and German language skills, both written and spoken
