Lead and Manage a Multi Agency CSE Team

A Local Authority based in the West Midlands is seeking an experienced Assistant Team Manager to lead and manage their dedicated CSE team.

Highlights:

• This is a dedicated management position where you will be working closely with the Police, Health and Education services.
• The team investigates circumstances surrounding children who are missing from home or the care of the Local Authority as well as those that maybe trafficked.
• The team work to engage with these children as well as their families to prevent future episodes of going missing and the risk of exploitation
• Pay rates are in line with the memorandum

This is an exciting opportunity to take on a dedicated management post within a specialist team which focuses on contextualised safeguarding. You will be joining a multi disciplinary service consisting of Police, Health and Education which aims to coordinate information to get a better understanding of the risks surrounding a child outside of their home/care environment.

As an Assistant Team Manager you will be responsible for the operational management of the team whilst being supported by the Team and Service Manager. You will have excellent levels of support as managers will always be accessible in order to ensure a timely response to any urgent need.

To be considered for this post you should have some management experience, alternatively you should have extensive experience of working with this service user group
