Incomplete or improperly submitted applications may be excluded from consideration. *Primary Duties*The Department of Engineering and Technology at Texas A&M University-Commerce invites applications for a Tenure Track Assistant Professor position in Construction Engineering for the fall 2021 semester. This is a 9 month appointment.Areas of teaching assignments include, but not limited to: construction planning and scheduling, managing sustainability, construction accounting and financial management, and computer-aided design. Other duties as required.*Required Qualifications** An earned doctorate from an ABET accredited U.S. institution of higher learning with a major field of study in construction engineering, civil engineering, construction management, or a closely related discipline with an emphasis on construction management.* A current Professional Engineer's license from Texas (or one that will transfer to Texas)*Preferred Qualifications** Evidence of a minimum of two years higher education teaching experience* Experience with online course development and instruction* Experience working with culturally diverse populations* A record of scholarship; publications, presentations, and grant proposals* Fluent oral and written communication skills* Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with othersAll positions are security-sensitive.
