A Local Authority based in the West Midlands is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join their Dedicated MASH post where staff do not hold a Caseload

Highlights:

• This is a dedicated Non Case holding post, which is not client facing so you will not need to carry out any visits.
• This post is predominantly home based but it is expected that you will have to work in the office 2-3 days/week
• You will receive training from Professor Thorpe regarding the Virtuous Cycle Model and as such you will be expected to commit to this post for at least 6 months.
• You will be working closely with the police and be based in the Police building in order to maintain effective communication between agencies.
• This is very stable service with all managers employed on a permanent basis and a long standing senior manager.
• Pay rate for this post is in line with the cap - £32.34/Hr

This is an excellent opportunity to work for a stable and well established team which works to investigate circumstances surrounding children that maybe at risk. You will gain exposure to those cases involving complex issues such as exploitation and county lines and will also receive training from both Social Services and Police to help support your time in the team.

Due to the nature of the post you will be predominantly office based and wont have to do visits. This will generally mean that your hours of work are fixed leaving you free to enjoy the evenings. Furthermore the post will see you co located with the police in the Police Station improving working synergy and communication between services

The Local Authority is also offering higher rates for this post at £32.34/Hr, coupled with a long and stable contract it will give you the opportunity to gain stability whilst earning the higher rate for the region which will give you more expendable income
